Miller-Valentine Group Receives Adaptive Use Award

Miller-Valentine Group was recognized at the Historic Columbia Foundation’s Preservation Matters Awards Dinner for their renovation of 823 Gervais Street, located in the heart of the Vista. Miller-Valentine received the prestigious Adaptive Use Award for transforming the former Columbia Supply Building, a 126 year old, two-story industrial building, into a vibrant office and retail building, while preserving its original character.

The Historic Columbia Foundation holds an awards ceremony each year, acknowledging leaders in the community for their efforts in the preservation of building history in Columbia and Richland County.

“We are honored to have been recognized for this achievement,” said Dale Stigamier, developer of Miller-Valentine Group “The Historic Columbia Foundation has created an event where individuals, businesses, and organizations can celebrate the achievements made in preserving our community’s history. We are proud of the impact our project has made.”
