Excellence in Construction Awards

Miller-Valentine Construction has been recognized for excellence in construction at the annual awards banquet by the ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors), the premiere construction organization with 23,500 member firms nationally. ABC was established in 1950 to promote and improve the image of construction and to address issues facing the industry.

Miller-Valentine Construction received Eagle Awards in three different categories including new commercial construction, renovation, and specialty projects. The award-winning projects were for Avtec’s new corporate headquarters located in Lexington, SC (new commercial construction), Protocol School of Washington headquarters located in Columbia, SC (renovation), and the Azalea Retail Center located in Summerville, SC (specialty).

“We are honored to have been acknowledged by our peers in the construction industry for these achievements,” said Kurt Eyring, Vice President of Miller-Valentine Construction. “The Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas have created an event where excellence can be recognized and celebrated. The three Eagle Awards represent the hard work and dedication of our associates and project teams.”
