Harbor Town Senior Residence to Open

Miller-Valentine Group and W.S.O.S. Community Action Commission are proud to announce, in conjunction with their partner organizations, the Grand Opening of Harbor Town Senior Residence, a brand new community exclusively for adults 55 and over.  The ceremony will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at 7120 Lighthouse Way, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551; property tours and a reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

We are honored to have several distinguished speakers at this event, including Wes Fahrbach, District Director, US Senator Rob Portman’s Office; Randy Gardner, Ohio Senator; Michael Olmstead, Mayor, City of Perrysburg; Guy Ford, Director of Legislative Affairs, Ohio Housing Finance Agency; Joe Pimmel, Vice President, Organizational Development, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing; and Chuck Snyder, President, RiverHills Bank.
Miller-Valentine Group and W.S.O.S. Community Action Commission, Inc. worked with Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Ohio Housing Finance Agency, RiverHills Bank, and Bonneville Multifamily Capital to bring this remarkable property to fruition.

Harbor Town Senior Residence is a brand new, maintenance-free, pet-friendly community of 69 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes which were designed to serve adults 55 and over who desire high-quality, affordable rental housing.  All apartment homes feature amenities you would expect to find in a luxury apartment home, at an affordable price; spacious floor plans, fully-equipped gourmet kitchens, energy-efficient design and appliances, a laundry room with full-size washer/dryer connections, exceptional closet space, and central air conditioning. Community amenities include a multipurpose room with a kitchen/dining area, business center, media room and fitness center.

Harbor Town Senior Residence has provided $6.1 million in income for the local economy.  This includes wages for workers and revenue for local proprietors, small businesses, and corporations. In addition, Harbor Town Senior Residence generated 104 new jobs during its construction for local contractors and sub-contractors.
