New Luxury Apartment Community Under Construction in Lexington, KY
Miller-Valentine Group is pleased to announce the development of WaterStone at Hamburg, a luxury apartment community located near the intersection of Man O’ War Boulevard and Polo Club Boulevard in Lexington, Kentucky. WaterStone at Hamburg will offer 264 upscale apartments in two four-story, elevator-serviced residential buildings with attached tuck-in garages. The community is adjacent to Hamburg Place, the largest shopping and dining area in central Kentucky with more than two million square feet of retail space.
Construction began earlier this year, and the first units are expected to deliver during the first quarter of 2017. Rents start at $990 per month for a 1-bedroom apartment, $1,175 for a 2-bedroom apartment and $1,365 for a 3-bedroom apartment.
“With a convenient location close to employment centers, retail, and restaurants, WaterStone at Hamburg will offer residents top-of-the-line amenities surrounded by the natural beauty of Lexington’s horse country,” said David Liette, president of residential development for Miller-Valentine Group.
The stylish units at WaterStone at Hamburg will feature upgraded wood-plank flooring, private balconies and patios and laundry rooms. The gourmet-style kitchens will include under mount sinks, dark wood cabinets, stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops and large, freestanding islands.
Residents will be able to relax and entertain with outdoor amenities including a resort-style, heated saltwater pool; colonnade and porch lounge areas; and an entertainment area including bar, TV, grills, fire pit and two courtyard pocket parks with additional grilling stations. A 5,500-square-foot clubhouse will feature an open design including a large reception room with a fireplace, coffee bar, TV lounge/media room, billiards room, a kitchen area with two large islands for entertaining and a state-of-the-art fitness center including a private yoga room. The community will also feature a private playground, an on-site dog park and indoor dog bath.
WaterStone at Hamburg is located on what was once Hamburg Place, a historic horse farm founded by John E. Madden in 1898. The original 235-acre farm grew to 2,000 acres over time and produced six derby winners and five racing hall of fame members. WaterStone at Hamburg will embody the location’s legendary heritage while also remaining modern.
The community offers easy access to I-75 and key employment centers including The University of Kentucky, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Xerox, Fayette County Schools and Baptist Health. WaterStone at Hamburg is only minutes away from Keeneland, a world-class thoroughbred horse racing facility, and the 216-acre Jacobson Park.
WaterStone at Hamburg was designed by architect BSB Design and interior designer Mitsch Design. Miller-Valentine Construction is the general contractor.
