Construction Underway on Waterford at Sugarcreek
Nature-inspired luxe apartment community will exemplify the best in design and open space
Construction of Waterford at Sugarcreek, a luxury apartment community located in Sugarcreek Township, Ohio, near the intersection of Feedwire Road and Little Sugarcreek Road is underway. Waterford at Sugarcreek will offer 231 one-, two- and three-bedroom upscale apartments, including personal garage spaces for more than half of the units. The first residences expected to be delivered by May 2017.
Designed using the Big House design concept, giving each apartment the appearance of a typical single-family home, Waterford at Sugarcreek will provide direct-entry apartment homes and designer finishes. The 231 garden-style apartments will contain hard surface plank flooring, closet systems with ample storage space, patios, balconies, and washers and dryers. In the chef-inspired kitchens, residents will enjoy stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. One or two car garages will be an additional feature in some of the one- and two-bedroom units.
The pool courtyard includes an oversized resort-style saltwater pool with an expansive amenity deck and gathering areas, as well as a fire pit lounge area and outdoor grilling station. A 6,000-square-foot clubhouse features an internet café, professionally designed community lounge, game room, and state-of-the-art fitness center. The game room includes a billiards lounge and café, and the spa-inspired fitness facility features a yoga room.
Waterford at Sugarcreek was designed to be in harmony with nature with more than 50 percent of the 25-acre site retained as open space. Lush, natural landscaping surround the building and internal roads, and Little Sugar Creek is located at the eastern boundary. Residents can also enjoy Sweet Arrow Reserve, a park with 250 acres of woodlands, prairies, and meadows, directly across the street from the development. The development is located in the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek School District with easy access to I-675 and U.S. 35 and key employment centers including Dayton, Kettering, Centerville, and Beavercreek. Residents will enjoy high-quality retail and dining nearby at The Greene Town Center. Eagle Land, a wooden playground with climbs, slides, and swings, is just five minutes away.
Waterford at Sugarcreek was designed by architect Humphreys & Partners Architects, L.P., landscape architect POD Design and civil engineer American Structurepoint. Miller-Valentine Residential Construction will act as general contractor. Ackermann Group is co-developer and property manager.
