Project Update – Climate Controlled Self Storage

With the need for climate controlled self storage facilities on the rise, Miller-Valentine currently has three projects under construction:

Persimmon Hill, a three-story 90,000 SF climate controlled self-storage facility located in Goose Creek, SC is in the final month of construction and scheduling final inspections.  Building signage is installed and landscaping and paving is underway.  Scheduled completion is early March and concurrently will be turned over to Extra Space Storage to lease up and manage the property.

Sumner Ave., a three-story 91,000 SF climate controlled self-storage facility located in North Charleston, SC is midway through construction.  The 2nd floor is poured and much of the site utilities are installed.  In the coming weeks, the building infrastructure will begin and we will be well underway for our 2nd Climate Controlled Self Storage completion early 3rd quarter.

Red Bank., a three-story 91,000 SF climate controlled self-storage facility located in Berkeley County, SC is well underway. Grading of the site has been completed as well as the foundations, slab on grade and masonry shaft walls.   In the coming weeks, the structural building components will be moving right along.  Project completion is scheduled for the latter part of the third quarter 2018.

Miller-Valentine Group and Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic have teamed up to develop these new, high-quality, climate controlled self-storage facilities, greatly needed by both residents and businesses in the Charleston area.
