NorthPoint Development to add fifth facility in Dayton area
Miller-Valentine Construction was selected by NorthPoint Development, Inc., to build its fifth facility in the Dayton region. “Dayton V” will occupy roughly 30 acres at the intersection of Dog Leg Road and Union Park Boulevard in Vandalia.
The new construction will add 521,000 square feet of Class A industrial, production and warehouse space to the developer’s portfolio in the area. NorthPoint has already developed over 3 million square feet in the region. Its other nearby buildings house manufacturing and distribution centers for a diverse range of companies, including Spectrum Brands, known for its auto care products, Alpla, a plastic packaging manufacturer, and retail brands such Crocs and Chewy.
“Dayton is an easy place for companies to land,” said Dave Dickerson, President Midwest Business Development for Miller-Valentine Group. “The costs are right, plus we offer easy access to major interstates, railways and airports, and a healthy employment market.”
The new building will be leased to a single occupant, which has not been identified. Construction cost is estimated to be completed in spring 2020.
