Which delivery method is right for your project?
Selecting the delivery method—or how and when the contractor gets involved—is a crucial decision that needs to be made early in the process. The challenge is, there is no universally “right” method.
The best method will depend on a host of factors ranging from your vision to your internal resources. After those factors are defined, they can be mapped against different project delivery methods to find the right fit for you. Below are the most commonly used types of project delivery methods.
- General Contractor (GC) /Design-Bid-Build (DBB)
- Design-Build (DB)
- Construction Management at Risk (CMR)
- Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
At Miller-Valentine Group, we do not adhere to any one construction delivery method. We have the experience to partner with our clients on the delivery method that suits their needs.
