Victor J. Cassano Sr. Health Center

22,000 SF Medical Office Building

The Victor J. Cassano Sr. Health Center project involved the conversion of a vacant Tasty Bird food-processing plant into a state-of- the-art osteopathic teaching facility and community health center.

This design/build project demonstrated the results that can be achieved when corporations, city and state officials, architects, engineers, contractors and other professionals work closely together to provide for the common good of the community.

“We did not want a standard building.  We wanted the Cassano Health Center to be a visual and a functional anchor of the entire Wright Dunbar revitalization effort. Inside we asked for curved walls, curved hallways, all sorts of features that one is not used to. And, we wanted it all done quickly and with strict cost controls. Only Miller-Valentine could deliver such a project on time, within budget and have the finished construction of the highest quality.”
